I first made a brocade shirt a few years back. I loved the look, but brocade was so expensive and hard to sew on. I found some on clearance and an idea for a dress.
It was an experiment, I was happy with how it turned out, not perfect, but I was content with it.
I've always like to make and create projects, but after we found out that we might not be lucky enough to have some kiddos, I needed to fill my time, keep busy and stop feeling sorry for myself. As a result, I became a crazy crafter, creating, experimenting and sometimes succeeding. Some projects turn out and others don't :) But I usually enjoy the process.
